High quality output electronics provide a very 'clean' charging voltage ( DC ripple from low quality electronics shorten battery life)- combined with up to 8 stage smart charging, Merlin Extreme Duty Battery Chargers rapidly replenish battery capacity, keep up with immediate DC loads, and maintain batteries when in stand-by for long periods of time. Universal AC input and Power Factor Correction allow operation anywhere in the World and even from poor quality AC supplies.

Standard programmes are built in for most battery types-custom ones can be created using a PC interface allowing custom programmes for exotic battery chemistries.
